Step 1

Create an account

When you click on "Start Application" you will be promoted to create an account.

This is the information you will use to log back in to complete your application and check your application status.

Step 2

Fill out the online application

Using the online application you will fill out information about you, your academic history and your goals within the counseling program.

Step 3

Upload requested materials

As part of your application you will be asked to provide:

A recent photo
Your spiritual autobiography
Essay response questions

Step 4

Request additional materials

As part of your application you will need

Three references to fill out recommendation forms
Transcripts for all previous institutions
A statement of church membership

Step 5

Submit application

An application fee of $50 is due upon submission.

You may be invited to attend a preview day after your application has been submitted.

Step 6

Attend a Program Overview Session and Group Interview

All CMHC applicants must attend a program overview session and participate in a group interview. This can be completed either in-person or online.

Step 7

Complete the psychological assessment online & schedule Individual Interview

After you complete the psychological assessment you will be able to schedule an individual 30 minute admissions interview with program faculty.

Step 8

Admission Decision Released

The admissions decision will be sent to you via the email you use for your application and via mail. Decisions for early action applicants will be released in January.

After January, decisions will be sent on a rolling basis.

Note: all admitted students will undergo a background check.
