Apply for the MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling

Step 1

When you click on "Start Application" you will be promoted to create an account.  


This is the information you will use to log back in to complete your application and check your application status. 

Step 2

Using the online application you will fill out information about you, your academic history and the program you plan to pursue at WTS.

Step 3

As part of your application you will be asked to provide: 

  • A recent photo
  • A book reflection 
  • Your spiritual autobiography
  • Essay response questions

Step 4

As part of your application you will need 

  • Two references to fill out recommendation forms
  • Transcripts for all previous institutions
  • A statement of church membership

Step 5

An application fee of $50 is due upon submission.


You may be invited to attend a preview day after your application has been submitted.   

Step 6

During a preview day, either online or in person, you will participate in a group interview with other applicants. 

Step 7

After you complete the psychological assessment you will be able to schedule an individual 30 minute admissions interview with program faculty.

Step 8

The admissions decision will be sent to you via the email you use for your application and via mail. Decisions for early action applicants will be released in April. 

After April, decisions will be sent on a rolling basis.


Note: all admitted students will undergo a background check.
